Vintage mismatched porcelain tableware showing no structural damage is sourced from old homes or flea-markets and repainted by hand to create new and unique gift sets. The resulting artwork will not conform to traditional styles of porcelain decoration, but it can still be used in the kitchen or garden just as any other tableware, therefore extending its life and reducing both waste and the need for the extraction and production of new ceramic materials. During the firing stage, the new coat of paint becomes permanently fused into the glaze at high temperatures inside the ceramic kiln.
