Phoenix Feathers, Est. 2011

Painting porcelain by hand has been a passion of mine since it was my first job in the arts. My focus is now on constantly refining ways in which to maintain and promote a lower impact on the environment: I source blank or faded porcelain from local charity shops or estate clearances, I use solar energy to power my firing kiln, and I sell locally while also providing access to specialised workshops and collaborative projects.

Phoenix Feathers is about upcycling through fire and beauty, from bright colours to golden accents, giving objects a new life and layered story:
