PORTFOLIO
Bio-Art
Art created using materials from the natural world or meant to be integrated into a living landscape and fully appropriated by various living creatures.
Ceramics
Painting porcelain giftware was my inaugural venture into the world of art as a profession. Following an internship with a porcelain art studio, I began to explore strategies to reduce my environmental impact through creative recycling. These strategies now involve sourcing vintage porcelain from charity shops, harnessing solar energy to power the kiln, and selling my creations locally. My pieces and the process through which they come to life symbolise hope and renewal, mirroring the mythical journey of the phoenix rising from its ashes.
Mediums: decorative design, overglaze painting, porcelain, scenography, tile. Goals: storytelling, creative recycling.
