ART THERAPY

“Strange how much beauty can arise from the interpretation of a nightmare…”

As reflected in my biography, from a young age I have consistently pursued a form of art therapy of my own devising, with a later revelation of neurodivergence explaining why I was so focused on encouraging self-expression in others. Now, as a professional artist and certified art coach, I believe I am equipped to provide a more comprehensive practice that acknowledges the significance of not only the process but also of tangible outcomes in creating artworks with therapeutic value.

I have developed seven diverse workshops suitable for all skill levels, ensuring that participants do not feel intimidated, while also facilitating the recognition of their work, whether through group exhibitions or informal gatherings, which play an essential role in the transformative journey.

Each of these workshops is connected to a project from my portfolio, offering examples to alleviate the apprehension felt by those who have never pursued art until now. Additionally, the techniques we will explore have been deliberately selected for their eco-friendly attributes, recognising that our primary source of well-being stems from our reconnection with nature and our communities.
